River Ebro

The moody and magnificent River Ebro in Spain is a fantastic destination for a carp fishing or catfishing holiday.

At over 900kms in length it is Spain's longest and most impressive Carp fishing and Catfishing river. it is also one of Europe most incredible places for a fishing holiday. The Ebro has it's source within the Canabria mountain range in the North, it then flows through the Pyrenees and Iberian mountain ranges, finally flowing into the Mediteranian at various points between Barcelona and Valencia.

The diverse landscape of the River Ebro's is a pleasure to behold, as well as giant catfish and stunning carp the area is home to a huge variety of wildlife, wild boar, golden eagles, vultures, many other birds of prey and other rare birds grace the skies

The summer days are long, hot and balmy with temperatures mostly between 26 and 40 degrees. Even through the Autumn & Spring the region benefits from wonderful weather, sunny and warm with temperatures generally between 16 and 25 degrees. 

The Winters are short, with cold weather generally restricted to  January and Febuary. By March,the temperatures are improving, Spring is  on its way, the river is once again embraced by a strengthening sun and beautiful almond blossom begins to bloom.  The carp and catfish are becoming very active once more, time to go fishing!
