Should I have a Ebro fishing holiday guide during my holiday in Spain
If you have not been Catfishing in Spain before it is a good idea for a session or two, these fish a hugely powerful, and the tactics used very different to Carp fishing. If you just want to fish for only Carp it is not so important.


When is the best time of year to come on a river Ebro fishing holiday in Spain?
The Carp fishing on the Ebro can be excellent at virtually anytime of year, if a large shoal of ebro Carp come through your swim, whether it is January or August, watch out! the catches can be amazing!!. For the catfishing the warmer water temperatures between May and November are more likely to produce good catches.

The good thing is within the town there are four tackle shops, so if you run short of the right terminal tackle, it can always be purchased locally.


When is the best time for Catfishing on a Ebro fishing holiday?
We have found the Catfish to be very active anytime between April- November, but they are reguarly caught vurtually throughout the year. If you are somebody that does not enjoy hot weather, July and August might not be the best months for your Ebro Catfishing holiday, it can get very hot in Spain with temperatures above 40 degrees!. So why not wait until September or October

The majority of carp fishing and catfishing on the Ebro is from the bank, fishing boats are available if required. If possible It is a good idea to have a dinghy to bait up from , but not essential. A lot of the Catfish and Carp on the Ebro are caught at very short range.

From March-November we like our holiday trips to be Saturday-Saturday. Outside of these periods the Carp fishing trips on the Ebro are generally shorter so there is a lot more flexibility regarding dates
